Founder and digital product executive with twenty years across commerce, payments, and AI-enabled products.
About Jose
He built his career at major U.S. retailers—The Home Depot, Macy’s, and Capri Holdings, where, as Vice President of Global Digital Product, he led digital platforms for Versace, Jimmy Choo, and Michael Kors across 110-plus countries, scaling the product organization from two people to eighteen.
Through his advisory practice, InsideOut Solutions, he has guided platform and product decisions for global retailers including Coach, Kate Spade, and Stuart Weitzman. Most recently he founded Pantri, an AI-powered household kitchen platform. He designed, engineered, and launched it as a team of one, running the same operating discipline this book teaches.
Born in Costa Rica and based in New York City, he lives with his partner, travels every chance he gets, and runs his own kitchen on the software he built.
